Veronica Knapp - US Army Analyst and Operational Leader
Veronica Knapp is a computational analyst with the United States Army, with experience in the Armed Services spanning two and a half decades. She gained early experience as a deputy warden at Camp Humphries, helping manage confined personnel before and after trial. She ensured the meeting of American Correctional Association accreditation standards. Subsequently assigned to the US Disciplinary Barracks in Leavenworth, Kansas, Veronica Knapp managed the Army’s sole maximum security prison and was responsible for the health, welfare, and training of assigned personnel.
Subsequently, Ms. Knapp served in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where she guided a combat military police brigade supporting the XVIII Airborne Corps. She oversaw talent management and professional development, helping ensure proper training and readiness for diverse law enforcement and force-protection missions. In 2021, Ms. Knapp took on a historic role as the first woman to serve as Command Sergeant Major of the 101st Airborne Division in Kentucky.
Ms. Knapp’s background includes deployments in Bagram, Afghanistan, and two consecutive tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. An avid traveler, she enjoys attending shows and events in her free time and appreciates the scenic beauty of America's national parks.
